Thread: Embedding Vimeo as HTML Snippet
Thanks Roddy - I shall check out Flowplayer - looks like it should solve the problem - altho I am planning to have 3 or 4 vids up on one page, I don't need anything fancy, just several videos on one webpage (and I like how Flowplayer will design the video player.

Thread: Embedding Vimeo as HTML Snippet
[quote="leftgotham":2podiao0]Under Widgets there is an option to drag-n-drop Youtube vids, but there is no option for direct Vimeo videos, thus I have to use the HTML Snippet and paste the embed code from a vid on Vimeo to the webpage.

The problem - once the element is embedded into the webpage, EasyWeb does not have a preview "still" of the vid to show where it is - it appears invisible unless if you "find' it and click on it and thus see the adjustable corners (and thus resize and place by guess-n-reclicking on the invisible HTML Snippet.

Any way to solve this problem? Vimeo tends to have better quality than Youtube.

Thanks![/quote:2podiao0]

You should definitely be able to see the preview of the video in EasyWeb. Check the embed code to make sure you copied everything correctly. If you would like, post the video link here so we can double check that the embed code used in EasyWeb has the video preview appear.

Thread: General FTP server
Hi, checking out all the features ect on easyweb and it seems all right. Until I went to publish my site to the FTP server I was using in iWeb and all I can do is make an easyweb account. Is it possible to publish to a FTP server or is that feature just not available in the beta? Would be nice to be able to, so I can fully test the software out.

Thread:
I'm new to this group. Just signed up today. I downloaded the Beta 13 (fixed) version. It seems to load ok and launches, but when I ask to build a new site, I can't see any template pages. Every option is blank...thus I can't choose a page to begin using the program itself.

I'm on a 27" iMac, quad core. I'll can see if it will upload to my MacBook Air, but I prefer to work on my iMac.

Thanks,
Kris

If you click on create new website you should then see the list of available templates:

Thread:
That's the issue...when I click on 'create new website' it brings up the box that allows me to 'select' what type of template I want, but when I highlight one of the choices, ex. generic-blank, it won't display the page options. It's just a plain, grey box. I've tried adding an attachment here, but the file wouldn't upload. I'll try again.

I've tried deleting the app and redownloading, but get the same issue. Where your photo shows the various pages for Business, with the blue and red... I only have a grey box... no options. I hope that makes sense.

STill having this issue. I've sent another email. Maybe we can get the viewer thing to work this time. I'd love to be able to play with this on the iMac... the Macbook Air is just not large enough on the screen for my liking.

EasyWeb seems to be running just as it had on Mountain Lion under OS X 10.9 Mavericks. iWeb seems to be working just as it had in Lion ... Mountain Lion as well.
