I still cannot edit Text. After I type a list of texts and click away to work on something else, the system will not allow me to go back to the test and edit. I have tried double click on the test and nothing happens. I can move the test anywhere I want but cannot go into an edit or add links to the test.

Hello, I just started trying out the program; So far, i only tried adding a page, textbox and images: [b:lvm5xb9i][u:lvm5xb9i][1][/u:lvm5xb9i][/b:lvm5xb9i]Its main design looked fairly similar to iWeb, hence, i liked it and was familiar with it. [u:lvm5xb9i][b:lvm5xb9i][2][/b:lvm5xb9i][/u:lvm5xb9i]I tried making a biography page with using a simple text box: 2.1. The text box couldn't be added by drag and drop, but instead, by clicking it. 2.2. The text box size box was not viewable probably beacause of my black backround, I suggest maybe an adjustment to a blue outline color viewable with all templates. 2.3. The text arrangement inside the box got wrongly modified when changing the text box's size. [u:lvm5xb9i]3[/u:lvm5xb9i] Its not very clear how to add a simple image to the page; i miss a simple add image button with options of were the image is located, to double click and add it. Thread: Strategy for blogs

Any suggestions for how to set up a blog? I'd like to have a main blog page to organize blog posts, and then a summary of those - just titles of entries - on the home page to show announcements at a glance. Suggestions for a strategy? In iWeb, "blog" was a type page you could add but I don't see anything equivalent in easyWeb.

Nice feature allready there resizing to lower res, but one should be able to choose for all pics in batch, and not for every single pic? I never made a website before and waited to use easy web for my first one. If you want this software to work as good as apple software you need to make things much more intuitive: 1.What is the header and footer for? 2.How can I make my Website Logo and navigation bar appear at the same location automatically? (At the moment they jump around from page to page. And need to adjust page by page) 3.How can I get the stuff in my website appear in the middle? I used centred layout already but it is still not centred properly. 4.I can never tell if an option in the inspector is greyed out or not. Or sometimes a useless option can be changed even though it makes no difference. Bug? 5.What is the Tumb Scale? 6.Why is helvetica new ultra light not working? (font) 7.Why are the picture dimensions different when I publish the site? Is that a Bug or my mistake? It should look just the same online as it does in my preview. 8. Line spacing increases during publishing. http://fine-design.co.uk/index.html 9.Textboxes sometimes disappear. These are just a few things that you could make more self explanatory and PLEASE EXPLAIN THEM TO ME too.

I've been messing around with EasyWeb. Yes, it is a lot like iWeb, BUT... 1. iweb allows you to drag and drop images/text from a program like Photoshop and Illustrator. 2. EW slideshow is okay, but iweb's is by far more professional. At least make the EW interface darker and get rid of the cheesy "Tweet" button. 3. iweb allows you to preview your website before publishing with the "Visit" button. EW - Come on...you seriously have to publish to a folder each time you want to preview your site??? 4. A huge downfall of EW is no FTP publishing to your choice of hosts like in iweb 5. iweb has image adjustments. 6. with EW you can't mask into a shape (i.e.. star) 7. No Character Spacing in EW. 8. The templates are horrible. I always start from a blank page anyway, but come on. Hire a designer to knock out some decent templates. This is just what I notice in the first hour. I'm hoping I got some of this wrong and EW does offer some of the above and I missed it. Please advise, because I sure did have high hopes for EasyWeb. So far, the only advantage that I will use is "Drop Down Menus"
