Thread: accented letters
Hi Paul
Sorry I did not see your reply. This problem seems to have been sorted in the very latest update. Anyway you can see my site (currently still on iWeb <!-- s:( --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_sad.gif" alt=":(" title="Sad" /><!-- s:( --> ) at the address www.elportal.fr
There you will see that I have exactly the same site in English and French. This brings me to the other topic, of managing 2 sites on the same page. As in iWeb, I would like to be able to hyperlink to a page in the other language. I need to do 2 different sites because each as its own navigation menu. I don't want the EN menu in the FR site nor the FR menu in the EN site ...
Thanks, so far I love EasyWeb.

Thread: accented letters
It would be good to be able to use accented letters on the left hand menu (names of pages, directories etc), but it's not a huge problem.

Thread: Site fonts
Hello,

If I use non-standard font for website design - it will display properly on user side?

Or display fonts will be limited to those that are set for the Computers?

Thread: Site fonts
Google has over 600 hosted fonts. If that is not enough, you will need to do as Darian has suggested - host them yourself and link to each one in the Head Code box in the Site Publishing Settings page.[/quote:2bxp2jy5]

How can I use Google hosted fonts?

Thread: Site fonts
All you need to do is download the fonts from Google and install them on your Mac. Create a new group in your fonts for them.

When you select a font to use in EasyWeb the app will automatically add the link to the font for you.[/quote:3jdm1g1u]

And this font will be automatically install to all visitors of my site?

Thread: manage all sites in one window
That feature is absolutely necessary for me to move to EasyWeb from iWeb. I have two sites, one in English and the other in French. The first page of the first one can link you to the second (hyperlink) and while viewing the second you only see the navigation items of the second one. This is not something possible with EasyWeb at present, I think.

Thread: manage all sites in one window
I know, Roddy, but what I want to be able to do is have a hyperlink from one site to the other, which is not possible at present, and directories do not help in my case because I want each of my sites to have its own navigation menu.

Thread: Breaking menu tree If deselect a page
I am going to buid a multilangual web site with sub menubars and I ran into the following problem:

If I deselect the "include page in navigation menu" checkbox of the Folder EN, DE, etc, the pages or folders below that are missing from the menubar. It would be great to solve this.

Or I can build a menu tree with blank pages and then jump to the page of the selected language stored in global PHP variable. It will work with the current submenu system.

But anyway, the menu tree is breaking if I deselect a page.

ROOT
|
+- EN (Folder for English pages) --X------+ PAGE1 in English (or FOLDER1)
| + PAGE2 in Englsh (or FOLDER2)
|
+- DE (Folder for German pages) --X-----+ PAGE1 in German (or FOLDER1)
| + PAGE2 in German (or FOLDER2)
|
+- DE (Folder for Hungarian pages) --X--+ PAGE1 in Hungarian (or FOLDER1)
| + PAGE2 in Hungarian (or FOLDER2)

Thread: Contact Form
First off - this is a really nice piece of software! Very impressed...

Feature request: in the contact form it would be really nice to have drop-down options and an 'attach file' button if this was possible!

many thanks all

Thread: Safari in preview
This, I realize, is a minor suggestion, but since Safari is my browser of choice, the one I go to first, I have a preference for it coming up first (rather than Firefox) to click on when I go to Preview. Yes, I know... it only saves a tiny amount of scrolling <!-- s:roll: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt="" title="Rolling Eyes" /><!-- s:roll: -->

Thread: Web Safe Colors
Does the label "Web Safe Colors" mean anything these days and if it does, does it have any relevance to EasyWeb?

If it's still relevant, does EasyWeb convert colors to "web safe" colors? / thanks.

Thread: widget buttons
I have just started using this and have been duplicating pages as I am replicating a site I have on iWeb. On a page I duplicated from a photo gallery page I have found that non of the widgets except the navigation menu appear (they are invisible but if you click on the right spot you get the outline of where they should be). They all show "generating preview" but then the page is empty. I have tried entering text on the page - which works, but the widgets still don't appear. It only affects this one page.
