Thread: Problem selecting word(s) in some text blocks

Difficulty selecting word or words in entire first line of a paragraph in a few places where there's a preceding paragraph. Sometimes when I try to select any word or words in that first line, I notice that something else in the first line of the preceding paragraph gets selected. When I checked the Text options in the Inspector, I noticed that my line height was 1.3 and Space after paragraph was set at 11 px. Not sure if that's what's creating the problem, but when I set a line height of 1, that seemed to fix the problem (made it easy to select words in that first line of the paragraph) but the overall text was too scrunched up, i.e. the leading was much too tight.

Sounds like the same thing. I'll try switching pages for a temporary workaround. I've also tried messing with Line Height in Text, as well as "Before paragraph" spacing in Text which sometimes helps.

I'm finding that the problem of not being able to select words is still just much of an issue in Beta 26. I did send the project file along (around Sept. 11) and hope it came through o.k. Meanwhile, I've used a couple of workarounds, but their implementation is hit or miss. In one, when I can't select the first line of a paragraph (roughly two-thirds the way down a long, fairly narrow {about 5" wide} text block), I go to the next line and begin repetitively deleting characters until I'm back on that first line, then make my selection. But the workaround is fairly time consuming. Sometimes I select and de-select the text block a bunch of times and, if I'm lucky, I can then go ahead and select elements of that first line.

Hi Paul, Until version 24 EasyWeb was stable. This morning I updated to 25, My first bug report! Update 25 is unstable. "This application has encountered an error in its programming. Please submit a report". I have sumitted a report. I use a MacBook Pro with Mac OS X 10.6.8 "Snowleopard" Jeff

Thread: 25 CRASHING all over the place...

Hi Paul, Yesterday was EasyWeb completely corrupted after I had downloaded version 25. Today I started all over again. First version 24 downloaded and installed. Then installed the update from within the program. It works! First impressions are that everything is working normally again. Thanks, Jeff

I'm not sure if this is a bug or I'm doing something wrong, but a couple of my pages which were fine before now have the wrong fonts and colors on the published page, looking not at all like it does in EasyWeb. Not sure if it's relevant, but it happened on the two pages on which I'm trying to add video. By the way, thanks so much for creating this software. I was really mourning the loss of iWeb!

Here is how it looks in EasyWeb: And here's how it looks published: I can't give you a URL because the live version of my website is old and was built by a web designer. The one I'm working on is to replace it with something I can manage and update myself.

What is then the right thing roddy? If i go look at a site Like jumparoundtheworld.com he Got a ton of photos in the future i will have something Like this.. Do you really need to go to a quality that sucks the photos on his site is Better then the ones i added now..if i Got the space on the host i should be able to ADD Them to easyweb..
