Thread: Alignement of Image Gallery widget
I don't think it's to bad, and my site is for family friends and people i meet on the road.. So don't care about google people i know already have my site name..
I just don't think it's very easy if you can't add 40+ images at high res.. It would be easy(web) if you could use and add the images you won't to the widget without the need of lightbox or shadowbox html stuff...

Thread: Drag and Drop Videos
I would like to be able to drag and drop videos on to the page (like iWeb), instead of uploading it to YouTube or linking to the video file

Thread: Aperture Import
I am a photographer who is importing images from Aperture 3 to a plain white photo page via the media icon. Importing 85 images takes 4 minutes, unlike iWeb which takes 3 seconds for 500 images. This lag in time is cutting into my productivity. Any suggestions to speed up the process? Resizing is not an option, due in part to the waste of storage space and time. Also, when importing, the images are displayed last to first, instead of first to last.

Thread: Responsive
Hi Dave,

Our main site was not made using EasyWeb. This was designed a few years back, before EasyWeb existed. We're currently working on an EasyWeb site that will house all our EasyWeb related information. The site is made in EasyWeb, but it is not responsive. Responsive design is something that we really want to incorporate into EasyWeb, so our developers will be addressing it in the hopefully near future. We do not currently have a timetable for when that feature will be available though.

Thread: msg: unknown encoding "
Hi Falks,

I loose some of my pages. I have a problem opening my project because I got msg:unknown encoding" error message.

As you can see here http://club218wellnessapartman.hu/club218/index.html I have submenus, which is not loading anymore with the project. But I
think the pages still in the project.

You can download my EasyWeb project from here:
http://club218wellnessapartman.hu/3FC5B84214E34589A81D5141A542D827.easyweb.zip

Any idea, how to get back my pages?

Regards, Gyorgy

I don't think so. My library is not included in the EW file. The EW file is important only for me. But very much <!-- s:evil: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_evil.gif" alt="" title="Evil or Very Mad" /><!-- s:evil: -->

Thread: INTERNET EXPLORER COMPATIBILITY
Along the same lines, I'm curious what specific actions seem to trigger problems in Explorer? (i.e. using Shadows ... Frames?) Does using an application like WebCrusher solve some of these problems?

Thread: INTERNET EXPLORER COMPATIBILITY
Will Easyweb have the same problems experienced by iweb when viewed on Internet Explorer.
Frankly I hate IE and the more we can discourage the use of IE the better.
But, there are those who use it and it would be great if your Easyweb site displayed just as well on IE as it would on Safari, Chrome etc.
So how does Easyweb perform on IE ?

Thread: Directory or Page - or Both?
[quote="Roddy":20e3sbim]Quote:
For me a directory is (and behaves) like a normal page.

My point is that it shouldn't. The page that appears in EasyWeb when you create a directory is an index.html. When it is opened in the browser, it appears as - directory-name/index.html

A directory is a folder which contains files (pages). The directory itself is not a file. It has a name but no file extension.

Imagine your website is a cabinet of folders and files. If you are going to have an index file it should have a list of the folder contents - not actual content. The EasyWeb way is like writing on the actual folder rather than a page within it.

I'm not arguing about semantics here - I'm saying that it is confusing and will lead to visitors missing key pages of a site. If EasyWeb is going to create an index.html in a directory then that file should forward the visitor to the first page that they see in the drop down.[/quote:20e3sbim]

I agree it's confusing. I had content on the directory pages, so now I copied the content, then added a page and pasted it. I gave the new page a slightly different name than the directory so it doesn't look redundant in the menu list. It would be better if the directory automatically redirected to the first page to avoid the duplication.
