By the way - just made a bunch of changes, saved EW, quit, and restarted, and it did it again. All saved changes lost.

Hello, I spent 3 hours last night rebuilding my website page by page because of an earlier crash in EasyWeb. None of the images were working. They were still in the Assets list, but for some reason the actual files weren't in there and therefore were not publishing. (I spoke to Rage about this earlier and had my computer checked with TeamViewer). I just saved and quit EasyWeb and restarted my computer for an unrelated download. When I reopened EasyWeb the changes WERE NOT SAVED. Most images were there, but all the additional changes (browser background, new text, links) were not. Every time i quit EW and reopen it this happens. With Beta 26, I was reluctant to quit EasyWeb since I had trouble with losing saved changes - thought it would be fixed in beta 27. I have to be able to restart my computer occasionally without losing saved changes in EW. Thank you, Lilah www.lilahshreeve.com

Thread: widget buttons

I have just started using this and have been duplicating pages as I am replicating a site I have on iWeb. On a page I duplicated from a photo gallery page I have found that non of the widgets except the navigation menu appear (they are invisible but if you click on the right spot you get the outline of where they should be). They all show "generating preview" but then the page is empty. I have tried entering text on the page - which works, but the widgets still don't appear. It only affects this one page.

Maybe it could be possible to open easyweb without an internet connection? When the blog widget is done i will use easyweb on the road when i am travelling and i would like to be able to open easyweb write a few things and when i a few days later get internet connection i can then use i one click publish.. I hope this is because it is a beta it need's internet? when the final version is out i hope i can open easyweb without internet connection..

Thread: image gallery - opening from hyperlink

I'm having the same issue as darrendixie123456789. The EasyWeb image gallery seems too messy for what I want. I'd like to be able to click on a photo and that would open up a slide show style image gallery that can be manual clicked through. I downloaded the shadowbox base version as you suggested. Do I then insert this into the EasyWeb with the hyperlink widget? And can you be more specific about what I need to omit? Thanks!

Ok. But I'd like to not see the thumbnails of the other images. I'd like the first image to essentially be an album cover. You would need to click on it to see the rest of the images in the gallery. Alternatively, I guess I could hyperlink the title image to another page within the website. But in that case I'd still like to hide the other page from view, so that it is only accessible via the album cover image.

Hi Roddy, I am using Shadowbox as you have described above and everything works fine except the slideshow does not automatically start playing images, I can move to the next image by using keyboard arrows. I have had a look at the options on the Shadowbox site but none seem to relate to autoplay. Can you give me hand please. Thanks Roddy, that works well. New problem - i have added a second slideshow and adjusted the html widget to the new images however both slide shows are now showing all images from both slideshows, would you mind telling me how to fix this http://the-collective.com.au slideshows are under 'Property Photography' and ' Virtual Furniture'

Thread: accented letters

When copying text from iWeb over to EasyWeb, no accented letter is copied along with the rest ... As my site is in half in French, this can be time-consuming ... thanks !
