Publish sends what has changed. Publish Entire Site sends every page again. Neither one deletes anything that's already online.

When to use Publish Entire Site
- You published, but a page or image is missing or out of date, and your browser isn't the cause. See I published but my website still shows the old version.
- You've updated EverWeb and your live site looks different.
- You've turned on Site Shield, or changed a setting that affects your whole site.
- Support has asked you to.
It's safe to use. It won't remove or damage your project.
Why did Publish send so many pages?
EverWeb sends every page affected by a change, not only the page you edited. Adding, renaming or reordering a page updates the menu on all your pages. Editing a Master Page updates every page that uses it.
How do I know what needs publishing?
Pages with changes that aren't online yet show in red in your page list. They go back to normal once you publish.
Deleted pages stay online
Neither option removes pages from your server. A page you've deleted in EverWeb stays online at its old address until the file is removed. See I deleted a page in EverWeb but it's still online.
If it still isn't right
- Check in a private browser window, or on your phone using mobile data. Your browser may be showing a saved copy.
- Clear EverWeb's saved publishing files. Go to EverWeb > Settings > Backup > Manage Cache Files (Windows: Edit > Options > Backup > Manage Cache Files), open Publish Cache, tick your website and click Move To Trash. This doesn't affect your project or your live website. Your next publish sends everything.
- If publishing stops with an error, go to Help > Publishing Connection Diagnostics and click Run Tests. Failed tests show where the problem is. Send us the report if you need help, and see what to do about publishing errors.
