How do I change or reset my email password?

You have separate passwords. This article is for your email address (for example [email protected]).

  • Forgot your client area / EverWeb account password? Reset it here.
  • Forgot your email password? Follow the steps below. We can't show you an existing one, but you can set a new one.

Change your email password

  1. Sign in to your client area.
  2. Go to Services > My Services and click your active hosting plan.
  3. Scroll to Email Accounts.
  4. Click the padlock icon next to the address.
  5. Enter a new password of at least 8 characters, or press Generate and save the result somewhere safe. Click Save.

Update every device straight away

Your phones and computers still hold the old password, and repeated failed tries can block your IP address.

Apple Mail: go to Mail > Settings > Accounts, select the account, then Server Settings, and enter the new password under both Incoming and Outgoing.

iPhone or iPad: go to Settings > Apps > Mail > Mail Accounts, select the account, then Account Settings, and update the password for incoming and outgoing.

Other apps: see Email settings.

Told your account was sending spam?

Choose a new password you have not used anywhere else, then tell support so we can turn sending back on.
