Your mail server is mail.yourdomain.com, with your own domain in place of yourdomain.com. If you added the domain or changed its nameservers in the last 24 hours, or your domain doesn't point to EverWeb Hosting, use your server name instead. It looks like name.ragesw.com. Both are explained in Email settings for Apple Mail, Outlook, Gmail and other apps (IMAP, POP, SMTP).
- Open Settings > Apps > Mail > Mail Accounts. On older iOS it is Settings > Mail > Accounts.
- Tap Add Account > Other > Add Mail Account.
- Enter your name, full email address, and email password. Description can be anything. Tap Next.
- Make sure IMAP is selected.
- Enter the same details under both Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server:
- Host Name:
mail.yourdomain.com, or your server name - User Name: your full email address
- Password: your email password, not your EverWeb account password
- Host Name:
- Tap Next, then Save.
If it asks you to confirm the server, or says "Cannot Verify Server Identity"
Check that the host name is mail.yourdomain.com with your own domain, spelled exactly, and not imap. or smtp. with your domain. If your domain is new, its nameservers changed recently, or it doesn't point to EverWeb Hosting, use your server name. For the full steps, see Mail says 'Cannot Verify Server Identity' or the certificate is invalid. If it's still there, contact us.
Check the ports
Open the account, tap Account Settings > Advanced for incoming (port 993, SSL on) and Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) for outgoing (port 465, SSL on).
Mail won't load after an iOS update
In Account Settings > Advanced, set IMAP Path Prefix to / or INBOX, tap Done, close Settings and reopen Mail.
Still not working
- Sign in to your Client Area from the iPhone, on the same network, to clear any IP block. See My IP address is blocked: email, publishing or my site won't connect.
- Turn off iCloud Private Relay or VPN for a moment and try again.
- Send us screenshots of your incoming and outgoing settings, with your password hidden.
