Thread: Browser Background Image Fill doesn't Fill in Footer
[quote="Roddy":1nq7zknb]Your browser background image is not big enough to fill the background height.

You need to either use "Tile" or stretch the image.

Another alternative is to use a black template and the bottom of the browser background will be black and not so obvious.[/quote:1nq7zknb]

I'm sorry but it has nothing to do with the size of the image. I'm using the same background with the same settings in iWeb and it works fine. Not only that, but I noticed that the problem is only within the EasyWeb editor. Everything lines up fine after I publish the page and open it in a web browser, so there is definitely some kind of bug going on here that is not allowing the browser background image to go into the footer area. I need it to work the correct way within EasyWeb because the design of the page revolves around the background image. If you look closely you can see that the top of the image is being cut off because it is not resting at the bottom of the page. If the image was not big enough this would not be the case. I can't use the tile setting because it shifts the image the wrong way. Please have another look.

Thread: Tables Widget?
Any chance of creating a tables widget or something similar rather than hand coding into an html snippet?

I would find this very useful.

Thread: adjusting images inside the imageframe
Would be nice been able to drop a picture and make adjustments with in the frame, rather than working outside in another program, as you can see if the cropping is right within the webpage.
I use iweb as it is easy to change picture easily for my photography website would be a great addition to make Easyweb even better.
Appreciate the developer are actually listening to there client base, well done.

Thread: More Customisation Options for Contact Form Widget
I would like to see more customisation options available for the contact form widget.

1. The ability to add further options if needed

2. The ability to have the text either above or by the side

3. The ability to change the text size and colour

4. The ability to have both a submit and reset button

5. The ability to change the size of the whole contact form

Yes, I know what you mean, however, I have not tried the html snippet yet and was just looking around at Easy Web to see what I could achieve just by using the app itself. I learnt a lot of coding when I was using iWeb because there were no drop down menus and a lot of things like tables, I used to hand code straight into an html snippet.

We shall see, but apart from the forms issue and I have now found the metrics inspector, I am liking what I see.

Off to try and create drop down menus now!!

Thread: Publishing to a Folder (Colors more intense)
When I publish to a folder the result is much greater intensity of the image rendered-colors are brighter, less faded, fonts are much more sharply defined (even seem a bit thicker) than the iWeb pages I'm actually working on before I publish. In a way it's clearer and better but it also makes it more uncertain that I'll end up with what I'm working on. Don't recall this occurring with iWeb.

Thread: Publishing to a Folder (Colors more intense)
Seems to me it's more likely the original colors, etc. (a bit more faded) as I work in EasyWeb are more likely to pop up than the new intense effect when published to folder. What Do you think?

Thread: Publishing to a Folder (Colors more intense)
On looking over the same basic colors of this site in my iWeb version, it looks like my Iweb colors are much closer to the intensity and clarity of what I saw when I published my EasyWeb site to a folder. So maybe what I did originally in EasyWeb is what's off-rather than the published version... Hope this doesn't sound too confusing!

Haven't figured out yet how to send the original. For for now, I'll try sending two compressed screen shots:

#1, (the more faded version) was created in EasyWeb.

#2 was created in EasyWeb, then published to a folder. It has the more intense, sharper colors. Note: The issue seems to have much more to do with fonts, font colors and background color than it does with the photo image. The photograph looks about the same in both versions.

The screenshots, while not the originals, may give you a rough sense of the difference.

Question about opening the published site in the folder... I seem to be going up to the desktop, clicking on one file which ends up opening the entire website. I wonder if there's a much quicker, easier way?
Please note: Compressed screenshot files unfortunately ended up being too large to send. Can I send them minus the photograph/images or email them to you. See what you think...
