Thread: Metrics Inspector
I can't seem to find a metrics inspector in EasyWeb. Is there one?

I have been fiddling around with the Chiropractic theme that is there and placed a logo on the page, however, I can't seem to get the logo in an exact position so that it differs from page to page and I can't seem to find a metrics inspector under either text or media or elsewhere that I can be precise about placement.

Is there one? If not there needs to be.

Thread: Placing Images
I realize that there'll be no text wrap option in the early EasyWeb versions-a difficult thing to work out and probably not of immediate concern.

Still, would be interested if there's some place to find some step-by-step info on placing images in text boxes and outside text boxes-how that might work. For example, my web page might look like a fairly narrow wide, long text block-like to place images both inside and outside the block. (Though it's all pretty obvious-simple drag 'nm drop, I believe iWeb had some discussions of inline and floating text which were helpful.(I confess I haven't done a lot of searching for these things on this Forum-when I have searched for anything I've mostly gotten answers that tell me the words I'm using are too common.)

Also,is there such a thing as a workaround for text wrap that doesn't involve coding? I'd find it useful-though not essential-at this stage of the game.

Thanks! john

Thread: Link to a sub domain
I have a forum on my live site at the moment. But I want to put my newly created site there and have a link pointing back to the forum. This means that I have to move my forum into a sub domain.

My subdomain will be forum.thetruthaboutdiets.net

If I put this as the link in the 'link to external page" section will it work?? because it isn't a typical http://www.etc...

Thanks,
John

Thread: Drag & Drop
Some time, when i use a iMac 27" i put a lot of file about a website in a folder near the page, so i can drag the file in the windows and i can work well but ...
I'd like drag...drop a background image directly in the inspector windows to chose the image without find the location of the file with browser windows.

Thread: Beta 20 won't read previous work
Beta 20 doesn't show the work I've done in it's list of openable files, and when I use the "Open" command for the "home.html" file it tells me it can't find a database for it and promptly closes. Am I missing something?

Oh, and there's no icon for the extracted file.

Thread: Correction to my Publishing to a Folder Post...
First reference to "iWeb pages" should read instead, "EasyWeb page." Sorry-old iWeb vocabulary dropped in!

I'd like to add a custom image to my Browser Background, but need to know what size the browser background is so it looks right once I publish.
