Thread: Background Image
So this is weird... I try doubling the size of the picture I created and once I added that as my background image it looked too big for my site, but once I published it, it didn't look like it got any bigger... (I've been clicking on the html document, it hasn't actually been uploaded on to any server yet).

I looked at the source code of the html document and saw that the background image was set to 50%... any idea why this would be? I set the option on the app to "Original Size"... might be nice if there was a "Scale to Fill" or "Scale to Fit" option for those pictures as well.

Thanks!

Thread: em dash incorrect when published
When I published my site to the folder, my em (wide) dash was converted to two hyphens, the way dashes used to look on typerwriters.

Thread: publish to other webhots than easyweb
I have a suggestion for an easy middle way. One that I would love to have anyway.

On the website setup page, make a checkbox and a folder selection field. And if you check the checkbox and set a folder, the website will automatically published to the folder when the publish button is used.

EasyWeb already has this feature but you need an EW hosting account for it to work.

Okay, but as I see it right now it doens't seem possible to create an account without subscribing to a webhosting plan too. And I don't need that. I need an app that can create WYSIWYG webistes publish them to my already subscribed web hosts. And if this is suppose to be an iWeb replacement it at least should be possible to publish to a folder without paying 99$ a year.
Don't mind the 99$ buy for the app. Someone wrote it, someone should get paid <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

Anyway what I meant with publishing to a folder is that you select a folder, in this folder it will put the latest version for testing, meaning it also deletes the contents of the folder when publishing to it. And when you are ready uploaded via FTP.

The cost of EasyWeb is $99 whether or not you want to use our web hosting or not. You still need to create an account. If you aren't using our web hosting you don't have to pay yearly. However, you won't receive updates after your year has expired if you don't renew.

Just what I needed to know. Perfect! <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

Besides, I think there is a lot for 99$. In beta I think this software is pretty good. And someone wrote it, so someone should also get paid, and compared to what I have sampled of iWeb clones. Yours is the best. I was just VERY confused with the pricing and host thing. And that is know cleared up. And I am just waiting for the final Release.

What by the way reminds me, can the websites created with the beta software be moved to final version?

Thread: Improvement of Menu
Hi EasyWeb

Here is a little suggestion for an improvement of directory menus. I have uploaded two pictures. The one called Current Menu is as my page looks know when opening a directory menu. And the file called Menu-Suggestion is how it could look like.
Basicly my problem is there is not enough space from the top menu to the items in the directory, and the location of the submenu is odd, it looks like it adjusts to the right of the previous menu item, when it should be adjusted left of the 2013 directory menu.

This is how it is supposed to work so that the menu doesn't run off the edge of the page.

Okay, I understand.

But is it then possible to make a selection for some padding in the menu, since they are quite close to each other when there are several submenus.

Thread: Textbox width changes when published
I have seen instances where having the textbox with too close to the actual size of the text will cause the text in the textbox to wrap around when published. This is a minor problem, but still worth looking at. I am developing the website using EasyWeb version 0.9.0 build 1091 on a 13" MacBook Pro viewing the website in Safari and Chrome.

Thread: Textbox width changes when published
I believe that this issue is sporadic. I tried changing the width on various text boxes, but EasyWeb did not exhibit the issue. I know I saw it happen and I will post screenshots as soon as I can recreate the issue.
