Thread: itemisation / paragraph styles
I know about "eierlegende wollmilchsau", I'm from Austria ;)

And I couldn't agree more with you- if you do webdesign I think you should have some solid knowledge. But there are people who need content to be published easily. Without looking ugly (remember the early Frontpage websites?).
EasyWeb looks like a tool to me that could provide beginners with an easy way of publishing content, even without html knowledge. And for more experienced users it provides the possibility to add some code.

What I was asking for are some very basic functions. I shouldn't have to use html code for that. In my opinion, EasyWeb should even focus on beginners and little experienced users. Pros would use different software anyway/would write their own code.

Thank you. I know it's a beta, this is why I am reporting this ;)

Thread: Frames on selected items
Hi

When I am working around in EasyWeb and chaning positions and sizes of my content, I really miss some dotted lines (Or other kind of lines) as the frame of my objects when i move an resize them, especially text boxes.

Is that something that could be considered added?

Thread: Publishing-two very basic questions...
1.) If I make a minor change to my EasyWeb site, to reflect that change do I merely publish the entire site again?

2.) If for any reason I want my site to no longer appear on the net-either temporarily or permanently-what's the best way to make this happen?

Thread: Publishing-two very basic questions...
(1.) Thank you... I confess I'd only looked below and hadn't checked out that option in the File menu yet...

(2) If I publish my site using Rage, how do I go about handling

(a.) temporary disappearance? b.) permanent disappearance (God forbid!)

Thread: Publishing-two very basic questions...
Permanent and temporary disappearance refer to the first two posts-in other words what steps do I take if one day I want the site to no longer appear on the web for say, a week or two-or, if at some point I want to take down the site permanently?

Thread: Google Analytics
Hi All,

I've got some code to track how users use my site from google analytics. It says to paste the code into each page of my website.

Do you know if I need to use the HTML snippet or can I paste the code in the header or footer section instead?

Any advice?

Thanks

Thread: GIF in the Browser Background?
Hi,
Is it possible to put an GIF in the Browser Background of your page in Easyweb?
Just like the falling snowflakes in this iWeb page: http://www.spqnr.nl/wintersport/Aankondiging.html

Many Thanks Roddy,

You are a magnificent web designer.
I don't know exactly how it works, but it works!

You are very kind to make all these efforts to help me and many others.

Thanks and have a nice day,

Thread: Scrolling Slide Show
I was thrilled to see the slide show widget. It looked so easy. Unfortunately, I must be doing something wrong because all I have are a bunch of pictures at the bottom of my page where I inserted it. What have I overlooked? Thanks!

Thread: Scrolling Slide Show
Image Gallery has a slide show time and and autoplay slide show option. Hmm, I guess it doesn't imply that it scrolls (wishful thinking on my part). But it's not acting like a slideshow at all. I just have a neat collection of pictures.

Same problem here.

Thread: font displays different after publishing
I, too, use Verdana. But my Verdana regular looks a lot thicker with a much more intense color tone when I publish it on Safari than it does at first in EasyWeb. In fact, my Verdana resembles Verdana bold rather than Verdana regular.
