| Thread: Directory for a made-from-scratch site |
|
I did try to send it in to the address that Paul gave me for crashes: (http://www.ragesw.com/support/0. I found the setup once I got to Rage not terribly clear. Lots of little boxes to fill out that seemed to take it for granted that I was registered i.e. had paid up-and I hadn't.. Not used to this sort of setup, I'm not sure it went through. Will try what you outlined, however, |

| Thread: Mask Feature with Pictures |
|
The Mask feature need to have different shapes or at LEAST rounded corners. Without this if you use rounded corners for the rest of your site it looks completely unprofessional. See the pic below. I could use photoshop to make the corners but that would add literally hours of work to each edit given how often a MASK is used and how easy it is to apply. FYI.. I wouldn't ever publish my site without all the elements matching with rounded corners. I am VERy particular about the visuals on my site, just as ANY Brand would be. | Thread: Link Issue |
|
Oh, Roddy! I thought you were done with me. I'm going through my site, checking the links. These were copied from iWeb. They lost "open in new page" in the transition, but for the most part, they came over okay. Two little issues. Some of the link won't change color. As you can see, I have set them for blue, but some (not all -- weird) insist on remaining yellow. In addition, while the links work, it appears they won't open in a new window, although you can see that the box is checked. I've published twice to be sure the changes went through but they clearly haven't. Help? |

Funny, I did exactly that before I wrote to you. And published twice. I'll try publishing one more time. If it doesn't take, I'll just redo them. Thanks! :) |

| Thread: Image Frames Don't Fit |
|
Hi, i don't know if this is just me or everyone, when I add a picture frame stroke to a small image or shape, the frame covers the shape and all you can see is the frame witch is useless if your working with small images or shapes (this happens with all the chunky edged frames). I would be very grateful to see any replies. <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D --> |

| Thread: Background color of text not working properly |
|
Not certain whether this is a bug or a feature request, but here's the issue. I frequently use a different background color on text in both text boxes and shape boxes. For example, I may assign a fill or background color to a box and then use a complimentary background color on the word, sentence or paragraph. You can easily see that on the Front Page of my website (http://www.njnaturenotes.com). Look about 10" down the right side of the page where in a box is indicated "Most recent update at:" and also in the "Website Contents" near the top left of the page. When I assign a background color in iWeb it fills the entire line. Not so with EasyWeb. Spaces MUST be used to fill out the color on the line regardless of justification. This is imprecise and awkward. It should work as easily as it did in iWeb. I realize this is not an easy process and you're working very hard to make EasyWeb as feature-rich and reliable as possible. But know that with each improvement, you're creating a much stronger and more desirable product. Thanks. |

| Thread: A white strip remains visible |
|
Hi fellow beta testers, If a picture placed tightly against the menu, then a white strip remains always visible in my browsers. Also left and right. Page with 1000 px. How to solve this? On my Easeyweb testsite: http://www.jeffreylew.nl/fotostudio/muziek.html In iWeb this issue is no problem: http://www.jeffreylew.nl/fotografie/Muziek.html Jeff |

Hi, For the moment I do not suspect a bug. I tried to solve this white space problem: Inspector> Metrics and marked "Allow free dragging". Then I forced the "MacBook" image under the background image in the menu. For the white space (left-right) I have more or less done the same thing, I forced the background image outside the canvas layout. Although it is not fun to work outside the layout this solved the white space. I used this method for all pages. http://www.jeffreylew.nl/fotostudio/muziek.html Thanks, Jeff |

| Thread: Ability to update text on IPAD or IPHONE |
| I am wondering if there will be a feature for a quick update using my ipad or Iphone. It wouldn't have to update complex features but the ability to update the text field would be helpful. |
