Thread: FONT HELP

Hello, I just purchased a font for my website. Normally I would upload the kit to the server, but I don't know how to link the webfont from the Kit to my site for EasyWeb. It involves CSS and HTML. Currently, when I preview the page the font resorts back to the default font. Any advice on how to install the font so that it can be viewed on my webpage? Thanks!

Ok - I got it working by putting the code in the "footer code" section, but is there a way to keep that from being visible?

I have a very large site I was looking to construct with iWeb. Not having an internal Site Search function makes this software unusable to me. Google search will list competitors products in the search results. I would love to hear back that search function will be included as a feature in the final product.

Hi, I just installed the latest EasyWeb Beta. I am rebuilding a website that I designed using iWeb. First thing I noticed that the templates don't support easy drag and drop for the prebuilt pictures. For Example I drag a picture on a prebuilt one and it just appears on top of it. It should replace it in my option. However then I see that you can select any picture on the page shape tab. So i try replacing the template picture with one of mine, which works, but it zooms in really far, probably because the resolution of the pictures aren't same. Of course you can do a work around, but I assume you would like easy web to be as simple and intuitive as iWeb,so I would suggest you fix this behavior

I think it's very user friendly if you can just drag and drop a picture onto a template picture, it saves time. Otherwise, why are there templates to begin with? Here is an example: This is how iWeb does it: And if you drop the same in easy web this happens: Instead of replacing the first picture in the template and taking the same style, shape and effects, it just puts it on top. Then you have to go to click on the template you wanted replaced, hit the inspector, select shape, select the image you just dropped in, and hit scale to size. then delete the dropped picture. So yes it works, but not as easy as it can be. I'm not trying to dumb down the program or say it's bad. It's just something I noticed that makes the workflow more efficient. I believe that's the point of this beta testing, it's to find bugs and give advice how things could be better. But during this test, I noticed another thing. I can't seem to find a way to mask or crop a picture. Is there a way? Or do you need to do it before you insert the picture? Because that would be very inconvenient.

When dropping images into a Image Gallery widget, the warning for large file placement shows up every time even when I've clicked the box to handle each file the same way.

Is there a way to copy a group of items and paste them in exactly the same place on each page? Also option dragging pages to duplicate would be awesome.
