Roddy, were you able to figure out the Safari 6 glitch of not playing if the code is set to "none" for the preload? I have my music playing in all the other browsers and would like it to work in Safari as well. Thank you

I posted this in its own thread but thought I would give it a shot here.. Hello, I used the code for the medialement player suggested on the HTML5 topic thread. I've texted it in Safari and Firefox but both have an issue. In Safari, the audio files never appear to load completely ("loading" text does not go away). However, they do play, but only if you're clever enough to click on the play button besides the "loading" text. In Firefox, when I click on the play button, the player disappears completely. Very strange. Anyone else experiencing this? Thanks! Lilah

Generally like the new design, much more modern. However I miss the links for going back in the top of the windows, instead of the bottom where they are now.

Or maybe as a newbee I've just missed how to do them. * When I change the navigation It only changes on that page. It would be nice if it changed on all the pages. * When I'm on a page and nothing is selected and I choose the "select all" option under edit. It would be nice if it selected all. Right now for me it doesn't select anything. * Bulleted lists would be nice. * In iWeb if I grab an element, say a graphic, I get a little tag that tells me where it is on the page (pixel wise) so I don't have to go to the proper place on the inspector pane. So I can align elements faster that way. If i have 4 graphics and I want them all to start at 25 pixels in from the edge of the page it's easy to do that as I move them. * I can't seem to find a center line. For example I have a box of text. I want it dead center in the page. I have to go to the menu and click Arrange blah blah. iWeb has a center line so it was simple get get things quickly aligned in the center. When I move the text in Easy Web blue lines appear on either side of that text box but I'm not sure what the heck they are telling me. If I align the text to one of the blue lines that appear it is certainly NOT centered. So I'm not sure what they are doing. Susan

WOW! You must have an army of coders. Having spent the day looking it over,trying to find solutions to a few problems and reading all the forum comments...... is there any way at all that a finished product will see the light of day within 12 months? I wish this programme was ready now......it will be killer....eventually. I don't want to rain on this parade but just being realistic.

Hello Paul, Thank you for replying. I'm trying to use the programme but there are somethings which I can't figure out. 1: I created a shape 860px long 22px high. I placed it 80px from the bottom line of the header (10px) but in every single browser it appears 150px (appx) below the header. I can place text anywhere but not shapes. 2: I cannot select text with my cursor,it takes at least five attempts at clicking,double clicking,clicking etc. 3: I tried to create links that are white and blue on rollover,it works in the programme but in all the browsers they are yellow with no rollover state. 4:If I make more than 20 changes or additions the programme won't save them and/or crashes. 5: The web browser preview will launch the browser after 5 attempts but does not load the preview url,it has to be entered via copy and paste. PLEASE don't get me wrong. This is the best web creation app out there. I have two new sights to build and after the demise of iWeb I've put off doing them until easyweb is ready. I'm using iWeb under Mac OSX 10.8.2 and it's really flakey. Without you and your crew creating tho new programme I'd be lost. I'm just really impatient to get going.

Thread: Pages names and Navigation

I see that this is an old post, but I do have one other issue. When I name a Page I would like to decide what letters are caps. Also maybe a universal change to the navigation menu instead of page by page. I gave my navigation menu a grey look with no underlines but on new pages it goes back to the default. I also cannot capitalize 3 letters of a page name for the nav menu and leave the rest small. Over all though I am quite pleased. I just downloaded it yesterday and it looks very nice.

I didn't change anything at first. When I create a new page, the nav menu is blue, underlined, and all caps. So I looked around to see how to change the look. I was able to change the color, eliminate the underline and can even choose UPPER CASE, lower case, or Capitalize. But if I want a page called "WFG pens" in my left window it says WFG pens, BUT in my navigation menu it reads WFG PENS, or wfg pens, or Wfg Pens. It is a small issue at best but when I want specific letters in Caps that would be nice.

Thread: Directory page

I did watch the video's. I get that the directory page will make a drop down menu. However I spent a lot of time setting up the "look" of the site on the "home" page and then I've duplicated that page so they all the website pages look the same. Now I need a directory page but when I click directory at the bottom it only lets me pick a theme page. How can I get the "master" page (which is the home page) that I spent so much time on to be use as a directory page? I tried to just pick a blank white page from the theme pages offered. Then I went to my "home" page and clicked "select all" and then "copy." But when I went to paste that into the blank white directory page there wasn't a paste option and when I use keyboard commands to paste nothing was there. Is there an easier way to do this? Susan I just tried individually highlighting all the elements on the home page and then pasting that into the blank page, that sort of worked however they are not in the same spots/locations. The text isn't where it should be, the white space is different and its not centered on the page. When I go from the home page to this pasted page you can see the graphics jump to the right, indicating they are not aligned. Grrrrrrr.

Thread: color picker?

I've used Easy Web for about an hour or so yesterday. Liked it so far. Today I've just opened it again and my color picker only has 1 row of custom colors available at the bottom. I could have sworn yesterday there were maybe 6 rows, most of the blank (white) but at least available. Today I have one row and it's filled. So if I want to save another custom color it has to go over one I already have. I can get a few more blank ones if I grab the color picker in the corner and make it wider but that's not enough colors. I see the very tiny and hard to click little ball that makes the custom colors be hidden but how do I get more blank colors? What am I missing? Susan
