No. EverWeb Standalone is bought once, and your license never expires. EverWeb + Hosting is billed yearly because it includes hosting and email, and if you ever leave, you keep EverWeb.
EverWeb Standalone: pay once
- You pay $89.95 USD once. That includes your first year of the Updates & Support plan (new versions and help from our support team).
- After the first year, another year of the plan is $59.95 USD. It's optional and it never renews by itself, so there is nothing to cancel.
- Your license never expires. You can keep using any version released while your plan was active. A newer version won't publish until you renew.
For the full details, see I bought EverWeb once. Why am I asked to renew, and what happens if I don't?
EverWeb + Hosting: one yearly plan for everything
From $99.95 USD a year, you get EverWeb for Mac and Windows, every new version, support, hosting for your website and email at your own domain, for as long as your account is active.
If you stop:
- Your website and email go offline, because they live on our servers. Move them to another host first.
- Your project file stays on your computer. That's the editable copy of your website.
- You keep EverWeb. You get an EverWeb Standalone license that covers EverWeb up until the day your hosting account ended. You keep any version released while your account was active, and you can publish your website to another host.
