Features that need EverWeb + Hosting
These work only when your website is on our servers:
- Password-protected folders on your website
- 404 redirects, so visitors who follow an old link don't land on an error page
- 301 redirects, which send your old page addresses to your new pages
- Website stats
If you leave EverWeb + Hosting later
Your website and email go offline when your hosting ends, so move them first. Your project file (the editable copy of your website) stays on your computer. You get an EverWeb Standalone license that covers EverWeb up until the day your hosting account ended. You keep any version released while your account was active, and you can publish your website to another host.
