A real estate website has three jobs: show each property at its best, make it quick to ask about one, and show owners why they should sell or let with you. In EverWeb you build each property as its own page, with a photo gallery, a video tour, a map and an enquiry form, then copy that page for the next one. EverWeb doesn't connect to MLS or IDX listing feeds, so listings don't appear or update by themselves: you add them as pages, or show your listings provider's search on a page if it gives you embed code.
Who uses this
- A one-agent agency adds a page for each new listing with 20 photos, a video walk-through and a map, and gets enquiries from a form on that page.
- A letting agent lets tenants report a repair and attach photos of the problem.
- An agent in a busy suburb runs a "What's my home worth?" page that collects valuation requests from owners.
Features marked (add-on) need the Contact Forms Enhanced add-on. See What is the Contact Forms Enhanced Add-on?

EverWeb features that help
One page per property, copied from the last one
Build your first property page, then right-click it in the page list and choose Duplicate for each new listing, changing the photos, text and File Name. Keep them in a directory such as For Sale, under one menu item. When a property sells, change its page to say Sold rather than deleting it: links people have shared keep working, and a deleted page stays online until it's removed from the server. See Copy a page, or a whole website, within a project or to another project and I deleted a page in EverWeb but it's still online.
Photos and video tours
A Responsive Image Gallery shows thumbnails and opens each photo large when tapped. Resize photos before you add them and tick Export Optimized Images so pages stay quick on phones. For a walk-through, upload the video to YouTube or Vimeo and show it in a shape with its Fill set to Video. See Add a slideshow to your website: Image Slider, Carousel, Slide Show Fill or a gallery and How do I add a video, a background video or music to my EverWeb website?.
A map on each listing
Choose Insert > Map, or set any shape's Fill to Map, and type the address. Show the exact address only if the owner is happy for you to. See Add a Google Map to your website.
Enquiries that say which property
Put a Contact Form Advanced form on each property page. In EverWeb 4.6 and later, add a Hidden Field with the property's address or reference as its Default Value: visitors don't see it, but your email shows which property they asked about. When you duplicate the page, change the Hidden Field too. See Build a custom form: quote requests, registrations and file uploads.
Viewing requests (add-on)
Calendar and Select Time fields let buyers choose a preferred day and time. The form doesn't check your diary, so reply to confirm each viewing. See Take bookings and deposits with your contact form.
Valuation and repair requests
A valuation form can use the Address field, a Drop Down Menu for the type of property and a Stepper for bedrooms. For tenants' repair reports, add a File Upload field (add-on) for a photo of the problem. Don't ask for bank details, passwords or government ID numbers in a form: collect those through the process your agency already uses.
Listing feeds and portals
There's no MLS or IDX connection in EverWeb. If your brokerage or listings provider gives you embed code for a property search, paste it into an HTML Snippet widget. Otherwise, link a button to your listings on the portal you use. See Add a booking calendar, Instagram feed or other outside code with the HTML Snippet widget.
Getting found and shared
Give each property page a Web Page Title such as "3-bedroom house for sale in Ashford" and a Social Media Image, so a shared link shows the property's photo. A Search Field lets visitors type a street or town and find every page that mentions it. See Choose the picture and text shown when someone shares your page on Facebook, iMessage or LinkedIn and Add a search box to your website so visitors can find any page.
Your site should have HTTPS (the padlock) so forms are sent securely: see My site says 'Not Secure': how to get HTTPS (SSL) on your website.
