Every time I open EverWeb it's back in trial (demo) mode or asks me to sign in again

EverWeb doesn't use registration numbers. The free trial becomes the full version when you sign in to your EverWeb account inside the app, and EverWeb then signs you in by itself each time it opens, as long as it has your saved password and an internet connection. If EverWeb opens as the trial, or says "You must sign into your EverWeb account to publish your website.", it couldn't sign you in. Your work is safe: the trial and the full version are the same app.

Sign in, and stay signed in

  1. Open the Account settings: EverWeb > Settings on a Mac, or Edit > Options on Windows, then the Account tab.
  2. Type the email address on your EverWeb account in Email, and your EverWeb account password in Password. This isn't your email password. See Which password is which?
  3. Tick Add to keychain. This saves your password so EverWeb can sign in on its own next time.
  4. Click Sign In.

You'll know it worked when the button changes to Sign Out and your license is listed below it.

Why it keeps happening

What happenedWhat to do
You clicked Sign Out at some pointEverWeb then stops signing in by itself. Sign in once with the steps above and it will again.
Your password isn't savedAdd to keychain was off. Tick it and sign in again.
You changed your EverWeb passwordEverWeb still has the old one. Click Sign Out, type the new password, tick Add to keychain and click Sign In.
There was no internet when EverWeb openedIt can't check your account. Connect, then quit and reopen EverWeb, or sign in on the Account tab.
Your connection is being blockedTurn off any VPN, and iCloud Private Relay on a Mac. If you host with us, signing in to your EverWeb account page (the Client Area) on this computer clears a block. See My IP address is blocked: email, publishing or my site won't connect.
You see "No active EverWeb licenses could be found" or "You do not have any active accounts."You may have signed in with a different email address from the one that holds your license. See the Wrong account section of I can't log in to my EverWeb account.
Your password is refusedUse the Forgot Password link on the Account tab, then sign in with the new password. See I can't log in to my EverWeb account.

If the message is about your plan

If EverWeb says your Updates & Support plan has expired, that isn't trial mode. Your license hasn't expired: the version you installed is newer than your plan covers. See EverWeb won't let me publish and says my plan has expired.

Still asks every time?

Contact us and tell us the email address you sign in with, whether you use a Mac or Windows, the EverWeb version (shown under the Welcome to EverWeb title), and send a screenshot of the Account tab with the password hidden. Please don't send your password.
