What are the server requirements of the Contact Forms Enhanced Add-on?

If you are using EverWeb + Hosting you do not need to worry about server requirements since everything will just work. When receiving files, here are the limitations;

  • Maximum file uploads per form submission: 20
  • Maximum file size of each file in a form submission: 100MB
  • Maximum file size of all file uploads in a single form submission: 200MB

If you are using a third party web hosting service, we recommend PHP 8.2 or later for the Contact Forms Enhanced Add-on. It also requires that your  web hosting provider allows file uploads. You need to confirm the limitations with your web host. They may block file uploads using PHP or reduce the total file size allowed. All web hosts are different.

When you submit a form using the EverWeb Contact Form, it will attempt to display the limitations of the server if you exceed them when submitting a Contact Form. Some web hosting providers limit file uploads at 8MB each, or can provide up to 128MB of space for each file upload.
