Updating page

User: Judith F. 6 years ago
HELP! I have a 3 year old site that needs updating. Two pages need to be changed. Both pages are PDF files so I cannot just go in and edit the text.

Do I need to remove and replace the pages or is there a a way to just replace the contents of the page?

I am a senior citizen and am not fluent in computer technogeek, so simpler is better.

Thanks!

Hi, Judith!

Please feel free to update the content of your website. Once you're done with that, you may go to File -> Publish Entire Site and EverWeb will update your website. There is no need to delete the old pages.

Thanks for your timely reply.
My Question is How do I make the changes?
The changes are in text imported from a pdf. I can not change or delete the material on the page. Can I remove the link on the page and replace it? Do I take down the whole page and remake it?

I have looked at ALL the videos on support page and none of them deal and none of them deal with changes and how to make them. The Videos assume a certain amount of experience where more detailed instruction would be useful. How about writing an Everweb for Dummies book? That is the kind of support I need -- Maybe others too.

I like the site that I put together. It has worked very well for me, but a change in direction and updated credentials make a change necessary. I hope that I can get the information to make those changes,
Is there any information out there that can explain the whole process to me?

OK. This is driving me CRAZY.
On the last page of my site I have several links to documents. I deleted one linked document, a page of references linked to a file on my lard drive. the link was deleted but the title of the whole page disappeared.
when I google the website it looks as it should. What I need now is a step by step instruction (Everweb for Dummies) Plan to get these files updated. Your videos are great introductions to the project but they don't tell me how to do it. Now things are getting worse rather than better. Maybe I should call and have someone walk me through it?
