Thread: Lists (bullets & numbers)
Yes, ordered and unordered lists should be supported in the app. For now, using option-8 will do. Thanks for the tip!

You Rock this should work. I wish we could integrate this with the inspector, but this will do. Thank you for your help.

Thread: Scale To Fill / Fit
I'm having the same trouble. I've set up a shape and have tried to 'image fill' it with a photo only to find it doesn't and wont fill the shape. Also I cant seem to be able to drag and drop a photo into a shape to fill it, is that a feature that will be brought in with a later release?

Thread: GIF file doesn't appear in published page
I have a gif file that doesn't appear in the published page. It shows up in the assets list and in the web pages in EasyWeb, but not on the published page in any browser on any device I've used. I'm attaching the image.

It's not an animated gif, but I'm assuming some kind of imcompatibility with EasyWeb and gifs, so I converted it to a jpg.

I think for ease of use for the average user who will be using EasyWeb as a replacement for iWeb, that some kind of built-in conversion for gifs would be a good thing to implement. A lot of iWeb users may not know how to do that or know that it needs to be done.

If this is going to be advertised as an iWeb replacement or alternative, it needs to be easy for people who were using iWeb to use it. It great that we can some really advanced things with it. I think it's already better than iWeb in many ways.

Thread: Animated gif in Easyweb?
Maybe its something from the past or vintage.
In iWeb it is quite simple to ad Animated gif to your web site.
I can't figure out how to put Animated gif in Easyweb!?
Is there somebody on this forum who knows how?

Thread: What do you like about EasyWeb?
When I first starting using it I hated it. I felt it was a long way from being ready for "Prime Time". As I get into it a bit, I'm getting used to it. It's becoming easier to use. It has very powerful parts to it. My biggest complaint is there was no instruction. We all had to pick away at it "Blind". This I believe was your biggest mistake. We wasted a lot of our time and your time trying to figure this thing out.

Now that I'm into it a bit more I'm amazed at EasyWeb's flexibility and ease of use. I just now figured out I could put shadows on my text in the text boxes. If you read the comments you'll see we're just sort of sharing what we discover.

Get your ScreenFlow opened up and you'll be amazed at how fast we catch on then. I have to go, I can pick up on other things later. As an over all opinion: You have a winner!

Paul,

Also, while I have a minute, The photo page is very confusing to me. I've placed small thumbnails (not really by choice) that I find very hard to alter. When published they work great as slide shows, but it was nothing I planned.

Yes, I have to admit I didn't realize I could add shadows to the text boxes, or if I did I forgot ... I'm old you know. I'm a 66 year old geek wanna be. I love playing with this stuff.

Love, love, love that it's so much like iWeb. I was able to recreate two pages in a snap. I would like a basic information book, though. The videos are nice and helpful, but it's just faster to open written instructions and find a quick answer. It's so intuitive that sometimes all I need is to find the right button to get me going. I'm lost with widgets. Don't know how to get them to work yet. Also wondering whether there's an easy way to make drop-down menus yet. :)

Will do! May have discovered a little glitch. Looks like ampersands don't show in directory names.

Something I do know! (There's not much.) On each page, open widgets and drag Navigation onto the page. That's your directory.

I found the pages to be pretty intuitive. It's publishing that I'm having trouble with!
