I got a message saying an error has occurred and to send the report to you, what does this mean?

This message means EverWeb ran into something it didn't expect, and it has opened the crash reporter so you can tell us about it. Common causes include:

  • Opening a file that no longer exists or has been moved
  • Opening a file that isn't in the right format, or is damaged
  • Saving to a file or folder you don't have permission to change
  • Anything else unexpected

Please send the report. In the window that opens, enter your Name and E-Mail Address, describe what you were doing under What were you doing when this error occurred?, and click Submit Report. The report comes straight to us. If it can't be sent, EverWeb offers to send it through your email app instead, where you can see and edit everything before you send it.

The more you tell us about what you were doing, the faster we can find and fix the problem. Without your email address we can't contact you if we need more details, or tell you when it's fixed.

Also make sure you have the latest version of EverWeb. We may already have fixed the problem.

You can usually keep working after this message. If it keeps appearing, contact us.
