My iWeb SEO Tags have disappeared. How do I get them back?

There are a few reasons why this may happen. If you downloaded from our website and then from the Mac App Store, you MAY run into this problem. If you have done this, please see this article first;

Downloading iWeb SEO Tool from Mac App Store

If the above article doesn't solve your problem, here is the most common reason why your tags will be lost in iWeb SEO Tool.

When iWeb exports a website it creates 3 items within the folder you have selected to export your website too. They are;

assets.file/--XXXXXXXXXXXXX.plist

index.html

WEBSITE FOLDER

Where XXXXXXXXXXXXX will differ on your system and WEBSITE FOLDER is the name you gave to your website under 'Site name' when exporting your website in iWeb. In iWeb SEO Tool make sure you always open the WEBSITE FOLDER. If you don't you may lose your tags. If you previously opened the folder that includes the above three items, you will have to continually open that folder in order to have your tags show up.
