Hi Greg,

You can modify every aspect of every template.

Which template are you using?

What happens when you try and change the banner image?

I have not picked one out yet. My original site was created with a blank page, so I have never before, used a template. I have decided to start a responsive site and had a hard time with the videos in Everweb and started watching tutorials with every web builder imaginable, including Wix! I hated all of them and decided to stick with Everweb, because it has always been easy to use and I always get compliments on my "easy-to-navigate" website. It has always loaded quickly and that's what I want. I make surfboards in Encinitas,CA and there is plenty of new competition in my business. I need a responsive site. Anyway, you say that I can modify every aspect of every template, but I could not figure out how to change the banner image, no matter which template I choose. And remember, I have not yet worked with a responsive site yet and I was just experimenting with different templates. As far as changing the banner, I was trying to click on the image, but nothing worked at all. I'm obviously clueless at using a template.

Thanks for responding,

Greg

HI Greg,

Thank you for the additional information.

You would change any banner image on a responsive site the same way that you would on a fixed width page. Simply select the banner image and adjust the settings in the Inspector.

If the banner image was added as a regular full width shape you would select it and go to the Inspector->Fill options. The fill options should be set as an image fill and from there you can change the image.

If it was added as an Image Slider Widget, or any other widget, you would select it and then go to Inspector->Widget Settings and adjust the images there.

If you continue to have issues it would be very helpful to see a screenshot or a screen recording of what you are doing so we can really see what you are doing and where the issue is.

You can record your screen using Quicktime which is in your Applications folder. Open Quicktime and select 'New Screen Recording' from the File menu.

Once you are done, your recording will be on your desktop. You can open a ticket with us and we can review it.
