You could always obtain a transparent image via carrying out a simple google search.. i.e. 'twitter transparent logo'. Or if you simply want to call out to these sites I know Roddy has developed a neat social network icon set that does all the hard work for you. Get the images from Instagram and Twitter Brand Resources.
