How do I locate Project Files?

I used EverWeb to build a website. Then I had computer (iMac) issues, and after troubleshooting with Applecare had to erase the computer and reinstall the operating system. I had a time machine backup of my data on an external hard drive, but when using the "restore from backup" feature in time machine, it just brought back the original issues I was having. So Applecare recommended I simply drag my files from the time machine backup on my external hard drive. But when I drag over the "Everweb" application file to my computer and open it, none of the projects are in it. The project files must get stored in some other folder. Does anyone know where? |

The project files are the EverWeb folder in Application Support. In Time Machine, open the user library by holding down the option key while in the Finder Go menu. Now open Application Support. Restore the EverWeb folder to the Application Support folder on your hard drive ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! Thanks Roddy. When I go into finder, navigate to the Time Machine backup on my external drive, then go to the the user folder in that backup, there is no Library folder displayed there. I am aware of how to hold down the option key when selecting the Go Menu, but that only "unhides" the Library folder for the current user on my computer, not the Library folder for the user in the Time Machine backup on the external drive (even if I have the finder window open to that location). Did I misunderstand your instruction? How can I access that Library<Application Support<Everweb folder in the Time Machine Backup on my external hard drive? |

Open user library/Application Support in the Finder and then enter Time Machine. The Appplication Support Folder Backup in Time Machine will then be revealed.
