I am about to lose the plot. How on earth does one fix the text problem with everweb. I have followed every instruction I could find but still certain text renders in the wrong position. I have downloaded 1.8 hoping that this makes a difference and it did - the text is more messed up than ever. Come on Everweb, this is a old complaint - where is the new solution ??? ------------------------------- Andre |

Quote: How on earth does one fix the text problem with everweb. Can you please provide a URL where I can test this? It is likely you either just need to reset your browser cache or make sure that you are using a web safe/Google font. I need to see your web page to provide the right solution for you. Quote: Come on Everweb, this is a old complaint - where is the new solution ??? What do you mean by this? There is no known issue regarding text position. Can you clarify so I can look into it? I think this issue is specific to your web page. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

Paul - I gave you a screen capture above. Those are three different sets of text - the words are MAX , COLLIE, and ONE OF THE WORLDS GREATEST HYPNOTISTS. They are placed one below the other but when rendered the image you saw attached is what appears. Maybe I should clarify my statement a bit better. Text placed on an everweb designer page often does not appear in the same spot once the page is rendered. The text is either higher or lower than the original placement. A entire thread discusses this problem and how to fix it. I have to yet get text to render where it is placed instead of higher lower and this is not browser specific. I trust this makes sense ------------------------------- Andre |

Quote: Paul - I gave you a screen capture above. Yes I do see your screenshot but based on that screenshot I can't tell; 1. If it is a caching issue 2. If you have used a font that is not installed on the computer you are viewing your web page in or is not a Google Font 3. If you have previewed or published this page 4. What browser/operating system you are using I need to know these things in order to determine the issue. Quote: A entire thread discusses this problem and how to fix it. I will look for this thread and investigate. As of now, I do not know if any bug in EverWeb that would cause these issues. Just things you need to be aware of such as using Fonts that area available on the computer your are viewing the site on. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

Andre, it is much faster if you can post a url of the page in question. It allows people to see the page and inspect it with a browser inspector. The screen-capture does not show anything except something is wrong. My 2 cents: it looks like a text box size issue. Like the box is slightly too small, causing the name to be on 2 lines? |
