Unable to download templates--error messages

I downloaded one template successfully to try out the ever web app version 1.73. Then kept getting error messages (see attached screen shot) and was unable to download a different template. Updated to 1.75 day before yesterday--same problem. Deleted the app and downloaded 1.75 again after talking to support. Deleted it and reinstalled 1.73 (same error messages). Purchased the software and then keep getting error messages when I attempted to download another template. ( I thought maybe the issue was linked to a trial period). Tech support sent a link to beta version 1.8 still same problem. With both 1.75 and 1.8 I'm able to see 'check for new templates' and several new ones appeared, but still unable to download and install any templates other than the original one I tried. Any ideas? TIA, JCW |

HI, Sorry for the problems you are experiencing. Which template file were you trying to download or does it happen with all of them? ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

| It originally seemed to be a problem with any of the templates that I tried to get: Minto, Woodbine, Alqonquin. Tonight I switched browsers--from Safari to Opera, First time I clicked on the download arrow next to a template- I'd get the same error message about url being moved, when I tried it again, it worked. Not sure why it's working now, or what the problem was, but got the templates (finally) so all is good... Thank you for the quick response. | |

I don't think it would be the browser switch that would fix this. Are you sure you don't have any firewalls that could be blocking connections from EverWeb?
