When I publish my website I get an image not found error where I am using the Image Slider widget. When I Preview the site the pictures show and slide just fine. How do I make certain that all images publish? I have also had an issue with the Image Slider widget in EverWeb when trying to add some images. They are the same formats and similar sizes as other photos that are showing up normally. Another image related issue I am having is difficulty getting edges to line up and fill all the way to borders. My site is 1000 wide and some images filling across the bottom of the page have a thin border showing between the image and the footer. Also with YouTube widgets I can't get them to go all the way to the side of the webpage without leaving a similar border instead of going completely flush with the side. Solutions? |

You would need to post the URL to the published site. Is the site published to the EverWeb server or another one? Have you tried using the Metrics inspector to set the width of your full width images & movies? ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! http://mattmccallieorchestra.com I have removed some of the images it said couldn't be found because they were disrupting the site. When viewing on an iPad the problem would cause the entire page to become very narrow and harder to read. The site is published with HostGator. Width of full width images is 1000 in the Metrics inspector, same width as the site. Images that can't be found are not full width and have been only in the Slider. None of the videos are full width, they just won't sit flush against the edge of the page. Last edit 11 years ago |

There are three things you need to consider... Image file sizes are huge and should be reduced drastically You are using spaces and special characters in the file names Firefox does not like images in the .tif format - use .jpg More info about preparing images ... http://everwebcodebox.com/widgetbox/slideshow/website-slideshow.html ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb!
