Viewing Justified Text?

Justified Text?

User: jacinfo 10 years ago
Hi -
Would it be possible to get a fourth option (right, left, center): justified text?
So text would show up in a smooth block?
Thx.

Whoa. Just answered my own question. I see it's justified when published.
Is there a way to see it justified pre-publishing?
Thx, again.

It shouldn't be justified when published. Can you show me an example of this?

Justified text is not likely to be implemented anytime soon. It is highly recommended to NOT use justified text on websites.

I see now that it's not really justified, just looked like it because right and left margins happened to line up.
See: PTSDinfo.us
Is there a way to lose some of the larger spaces? eg: after "account," in the second line of the large text block.
Also, if I wanted to make this page the start of a blog, what's the easiest way to accomplish that?
Thx.

You'll have to adjust the font and size until it looks right. Are you saying this looks different in EasyWeb over what you see in your web browser?

Can you show me what it looks like in your web browser?

Oof, I got bigger problems. Attached is a screenshot of what I see in easyweb and a second screenshot of what uploaded website looks like on line.
See specifically: Header type moved, Center two green rectangles missing,
I'll let you dissect.
Also, I need to dump in Google Analytics code, assume that goes into the head code box under 'page' within Inspector?
Thx.

I'll need you to compress and send me your website project file so I can test it here. Your website project file is located at;

username/Library/Application Support/easyWeb/

Right click on that folder and select compress, then email it to https://billing.ragesw.com/submitticket.php

Will do.
Also, does Google Analytics go in "head code" for every page or "code within tag on Publishing page?
Thx.

In newer mac software, library doesn't show under user, only under system.
No Easyweb files in mac/lib/app support
Suggestions to show lib files in user?
I'll look w/grand perspective but if you have a faster way, that would be better.
Thx.

found it.
All sent.
Lemme know what you think.
Thx.

Site wide code like Google Analytics goes in the Footer Code box on the Site Publishing Settings page...

Page specific java script would go in the equivalent box in the Page inspector.

Code like this should go just before the closing body tag in the HTML so that it doesn't interfere with the page content download speed.

Your site appears to publish fine for me. So i suggest deleting the published site folder in the finder and quit and relaunch easyweb. Then try publishing again.

Google Analytics should go in the head field for the Site, not the page.

I notice that I have created a conflict here by stating that the Google Analytics code should go, site wide, just before the closing body tag.

Paul has said - quite rightly - that the code should go just before the closing head tag since this is what Google recommends.

However, there is some controversy about this and I think that it is more efficient to place it in the body. There are a couple of reasons for this - the main one being that, if a viewer clicks on your page and decides to move on before it fully loads, GA will register a visit when in reality there was no visit.

My thinking is that I would rather the page content loads before the analytics because its more important for the visitor to get the content than it is for me to get the analytics.

I actually use webalizer rather than GA as it is installed on the server and doesn't require any code to be added to the website files. Less is more!

Open Finder, press and HOLD Option key, click Go on the Top of the screen. That will make Library visible. Click on it while holding the option key...
