Thanks Yelena. That's a good shortcut. I found the User Library with Grand Perspective and dragged it to my favorites. But yr way is a lot faster, plus now I know how to do it on other macs. :) |

So are you saying Google analytics in the Footer Section on publishing page? Is that the consensus? Thx. |

In regards to Google analytics the main reason you would want to include it in the head section vs the footer section is if you wanted to use some advanced features of GA it must be in the head section. But in the case of just using the regular code I would agree with Roddy that putting it in the footer code is probably the better option at this point. I'll do some more research into the code to see if Google waits until the page loads to execute though. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

Re: Google Analytics - I have it in the header on my other sites, so may go with that to keep consistent. Re: Publishing correctly - Gacked chrome cache, fixed problem :) Thx. |

Honestly, I am not sure if things will work if you move Library from where it is.... At least IWeb didn't work when I tried to drag it somewhere else. That is the disadvantage of having IWeb in Mountain Lion... ------------------------------- Yelena MacBook Pro OS X 10.10.3 IMac 21" OS X 10.10.3 |

The library folder should NOT be moved. This is one reason why Apple hid the library - to stop inexperienced users messing things up! For quicker access, create an alias of the library folder - Command L - and put this somewhere convenient like on the desktop or in the Dock. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! I included this kind of info here... http://www.iwebformusicians.com/iWeb/mountain-lion.html Note how you can use the freeware app "Mountain Tweaks" to permanently show the library if you want to. I find it easy enough to hold the Option key down in the Finder Go menu. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! Dear Roddy and Yelena - Sigh... Of course, I did not move the entire user library. I created an alias tucked under favorites so I could easily see the folder when I need it. Thank you for your concern and the suggestion of the 'Option Go' shortcut. |
