Just got a new computer here. I successfully transferred EverWeb (the app) and it's up and running. I have all the source files saved neatly in its folder for my website saved in a folder on my desktop, but I cannot get it to show in the EverWeb projects window. Any thoughts? |

You have to place them back in your Application Support/EverWeb directory for them to appear in the Recent Projects list. The same location from where you removed the EverWeb project file from on your original computer. In the Go menu select 'Go to Folder' and enter; ~/Library/Application Support/EverWeb/ ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

| I am loving Everweb! But its file handling is unlike any other program I've ever used so I have not been successful in moving my data from my old computer to the new one. I realize there is some kind of drop box method but surely there is a way to simply do it with a thumb drive? | |

Yes, if you watch the video on sharing and backing up your project file you will see how you can move it using any method you like; http://everwebapp.com/support/video-tutorials/backing-up-or-sharing-an-easyweb-site.html ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

OK - the response from Everweb implied that you need to use Dropbox and I didn't want to, so here's what I did. On my new computer, first I had to "unhide" the Users/Application Support/ Library folder using Utilities and Terminal. Then I started up a temporary new website upon startup of Everweb. That was necessary (I think) to establish an Everweb folder in Users/Application Support/Library. Then I was able to simply copy my files from my old machine to the new one and everything is working fine. Everweb Support apparently thought I wanted to synch two computers. I was ceasing use of the old computer and wanting to do my work on the new computer. |
