Viewing Publishing just the changes....

Publishing just the changes....

User: Lars 12 years ago
Hi there!

I have a huge website with a lot of pages ( I made my own news blog ). When I add one page by duplicating an old page, all pages turn red and when I hit "publish site changes" the whole site is exported again. I am using an external ftp client to get the site online and I publish my site over a mobile device. My upload capacity is very limited monthly - so it would be great, if there is a simple solution for my problem.

Weekly I am adding just one news page and am updating two other pages. So normally only three new pages and a few new pictures should be uploaded every week - not the whole 80MB site...

Thanks!

Lars

This is most likely happening because you are duplicating a page that has the 'Include in navigation bar' option selected. When that option is selected, any existing page needs to be updated as well.

Unselect this option for one of your pages (first tab in the Inspector) and duplicate that page from now on.
