Hi all, I want to put pdf inside my website, what the best solution with this widget ? I prefer to add pdf inside my website structure, not a EXTERNAL with a link. Can I add a folder with all the pdfs inside I need ? Best and thanks by advance |

Hello Richard, From what you are saying, this seems to be a 3rd party widget as EverWeb does not have an "Elements PDF Link Widget" natively. In order to use it, have you reached out to the developers of the widget by any chance? They should be able to provide you with more information regarding it. Alternatively, if you can tell us how it operates, or your use case for it, we'd appreciate it so we can assist you best. ------------------------------- EverWeb Customer Support Submit Tickets or Learn More |

Hi and thanks for your prompt reply, The company that develops this WIDGET no longer seems to exist! I want the same principle, namely, to have the possibility to see it online or to download it, this is in any case what this very practical widget offers, but my question lies more in the possibility of integrating a pdf file into the Everweb folder, where all the photos are located. Thank you in advance. PS: if you want a copy of this Widget tell me |

Hi Richard, Thank you for your message. EverWeb has a built-in functionality for displaying PDF files online. Here’s a video tutorial that explains how to use it: [Displaying PDF Files in EverWeb](https://www.everwebapp.com/support/video-tutorials/linking-a-pdf-for-download.html) For most web browsers, the PDF file will be displayed online rather than downloaded directly. Users can still download the file if they choose to while previewing it online. ------------------------------- EverWeb Customer Support Submit Tickets or Learn More |

Hi and thanks for your prompt reply. I think I have found the solution, which works for me, tell me if it is correct and risk-free, I Drag and Drop my pdf files at the root of the my site in the Everweb "EXTERNAL" folder then I create the link. My question is, will these pdfs be at the root of my site when I publish my site? Besides, what does EXTERNAL mean and what is the difference between the IMAGE folder? Thanks |

Hi Richard, Thank you for your reply. Just to confirm, it sounds like you're dragging your PDF files into the "EXTERNAL" folder within EverWeb software's Project Assets, that’s the correct and safe method. To clarify, 'External' folder is for non-image files like PDFs, Audio and Video and gets published with your website. Also, EverWeb’s Hyperlink feature makes it easy to link to PDF files. Just go to Inspector > Hyperlinks, select "Link to: A File", then choose your file from the section below. However, if you can also manually use the link to the file if it's required for a specific purpose. Please let me know if you have any further questions. ------------------------------- EverWeb Customer Support Submit Tickets or Learn More |
