Just went back to paid version

I changed the Home page completely and published it with no problem. Did a new update yesterday of Everweb and then started creating two new pages. Lengthy pages! I did not publish it as I am still working on it. I saved all pages. This morning I open up the software and my Home page is back to the previous version, yet I can see the new updated online. The other two pages I started are gone. HELP!! Thanks. |

Hi Kim, Did you use EverWeb's backup feature? It is enabled by default in EverWeb's Preferences. Open the Preferences in EverWeb and go to the Backup tab. Then click the 'Show on Disk' button to reveal your backup folder. Once in this folder you will see a list of project files. If you have multiple project file backups we recommend you sort the list by Last Modified and copy the folder to your Documents directory. Then you can open each folder and double click the .ewbackup file until you find your project file. If you specified another folder in the preferences, then you should look in there instead. You can also try using Spotlight to search for ".everweb" and ".ewbackup" to find files with these extensions, because those would be EverWeb project files. If you used Time Machine to back up your files, one last location to check is for the project in earlier versions of your backups. Look for EverWeb project files under your *User* Library folder (not your System Library Folder); ~/Library/Application Support/EverWeb/ If you did not back up your project file, unfortunately you will have to rebuild it.
