Configure my domain email address in Apple's Mail?

User: Peter F. 10 years ago
I followed the video to "Configure in Mail" and can not get it working properly.

I go to MAIL>PREFERENCES>ACCOUNTS and it is not listed.

If I click on my Everweb App's "Configure in Mail" it will appear on the list as INACTIVE. Then I click ENABLE and it is enabled. I can receive emails addressed name@mydomain.com but I cannot use that address to send out mail. The SMTP server lists me but states (offline).

Then after a while my domain email account name just disappears from the list and to get it back I have to click on my Everweb App's "Configure in Mail."

MacBook Pro El Capitan 10.11.3
Any thoughts?

Maybe watch this video too, I believe this is the easiest way to do it. The video explains how to route your mail through gmail, which can then be easily added to mail programs.
