Is it possible to copy an entire page from one site to another with all content in it?

Here's a way that works. Find the two project files in the Library folder. Open the one that you want to copy the page to. Add a blank page with the same name as the one in the project you want to copy from. Save the file and quit EW. Right-click each project file and choose 'Show Package content'. Navigate to the 'Website Pages' folder in each project folder. Copy the page.xml file you want to copy in the project folder. Replace the same page in the other project folder. Open the project file you copied the page to. You will see at least the page. You may want to copy the assets too or first. To see if everything was copied, open BOTH project files and compare the pages. And then publish to see the result. Yes, I know you should not do this. DANGER!!! |
