How do I...not screw up my email as I move a website to Everweb hosting?

Hi, Right now my email is daniel@lastname.net. Lastname.net is hosted by inmotion hosting. I want to transfer lastname.net so it is hosted by Everweb (and is a site I built in Everweb). I'm concerned about missing emails. Can some of you more web-savvy folks help me out? I read this: http://billing.ragesw.com/knowledgebase.php?action=displayarticle&id=167 But does that mean I can establish lastname.net on Everweb and create daniel@lastname.net BEFORE I change the DNS? How would I do that? Just create it as an addondomain? (Or a subdomain? God I'll never figure out the difference!) Thank you! -Dan |

Yes, when you sign up just select the option that says; "Keep my existing domain with my current registrar and point it to EverWeb when I'm ready." Then once your paid you can go in and add your email accounts. Then once everything is set up you change your nameservers to point to our servers.
