Problems with text boxes in my mobile version.

User: James R. 11 years ago
I am having no problems with my regular website. However, trying to set up a mobile website is another matter. Most of my web pages consist of columns of information. Each in a separate text box, usually 5 to a page. Everything looks perfect until I preview the page(s). All of a sudden, usually, 2 of the columns are suddenly longer than the rest and the information is out of whack. I can fix it by going back to Fonts and reestablishing everything in this case web>arial>regular>16 px. This appears to fix the problem until I preview again. If I save and then close out the program, when I reopen, these same text boxes display the same problem. These text boxes do not overlap. I have tried copy pasting from other sources and manually typing in the info. All of the text boxes have the same attributes, line spacing, etc.
Any ideas?

Can you post some screenshots of what it looks like in EverWeb and what it looks like online?

Also, if you can publish the site somewhere so I can take a look that would be helpful.

This article may provide a solution for you as well;

Thank you for replying. I tried dumping the caches, but nothing. As I said all of the text boxes are exactly the same.
How do you upload screen shots here. I have a before and after. There is no URL. The URL and image buttons both ask for a URL. Kind of redundant if you ask me.

Based on this :

http://www.cphsmemorialsite.com/Canoga-Park-Memorial-1960.html

I created a document in iWork Numbers :

Then copied the cells to TextEdit and saved it as a HTML page :

http://trotter.is-best.net/canoga/memorial-1960.html

In EW I created a HTML Snippet with an <iframe> to display the HTML file.

This is the code :

No code. It screws up the forum
