I wondered if there is a way to duplicate a website. I want to add a third with similar content but a different emphasis to the others and wondered if there is a simple way to carry most of the content without having to copy and paste everything. Many thanks - this forum is so useful. |

You can right click the website name in the Projects window to "Show on Disk" and then duplicate the project file.

Many thanks as ever, Roddy. Out of interest (although I can guess at which is the project I want by modification times) is there are way of knowing to which website the project files apply? xj |

Once you have duplicated the file, double click the copy to launch it in EVerWeb. Change the site name at the top of the left column save and quit the app. When you relaunch, the new project will appear in the project window. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! Yes thanks, that's no problem, but the file names are not the same as the website names - they are just a string of letters and numbers. How do I find out to which website these filenames apply? |

Right click the website name in the project window and choose "Show On DIsk". The appropriate project file will be highlighted. Once you have duplicated and renamed a project you don't need to know the file number. The new site name appears in the project window and you just need to double click it to launch it in EW. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb!
