Built-in FTP uploader doesn't work

| So, I'm using the Standalone version, and I wonder if that version doesn't support the FTP Upload page. I put in all the settings, and tell it to publish. It goes through the status bar, showing it's creating each page. Then, it gives me a notice that publishing will continue in the background, and then I'll be notified when it's done, but there is no status bar, I'm never notified, and nothing uploads. I've seen a lot of problems on the site but sometimes they randomly go away with a new upload, making me think it's the upload process that's the problem since I'm forced to use the "Publish to folder" option to then use a third party to do the FTP upload. Help? | |

Go to the publishing settings screen. To access the Publishing Settings Screen select your website on the left hand side of the EverWeb window above your web page list. Do you see a progress bar with a status message underneath? If so, what does it say? ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

| Just tried again. No progress bar sadly. No message. The page looks just like it does when I'm not trying to upload. Should that feature work for a standalone account? | |

Can you show a screen recording of what happens? You can record your screen using Quicktime which is in your Applications folder. Open Quicktime and select 'New Screen Recording' from the File menu. Once you are done, your recording will be on your desktop.
