Hi There, Any suggestions on good and easy to use FTP's for uploading to existing hosting. I'm using one.com and would like to continue that. However their uploading possibilities are quite irritation and will take forever each time I have a minor change to my page. Looking forward to hearing from you Thanks. |

Use an optimizer app which will recognize which files are new. Rage SW have one called WebCrusher which will optimize and upload the files. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! Filezilla is a popular one. But it's very Windows-esque. My favourite is Cyberduck. It's free, it's smart, and how can you resist the logo?

FTP apps are OK for uploading assets and deleting redundant files but they aren't very efficient for uploading updates - particularly on larger websites. The method I use not only allows me to upload only the changed files but optimizes them for faster download... http://everwebcodebox.com/info/ftp-optimize.html ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb!
