| Thread: Large Image gallery |
|
Thank you for taking the time to reply, I really appreciate it. I'm not a web designer and do my best to figure this all out as I move along. I wasn't clear, sorry. Not 500 pics on one page. 500 pics in one album (I think that's what they're called, I don't know), which iweb would auto-separate into several sub-pages at a max of 100 per page (or less if I set it that way). If you have the time, pls visit my current site (http://glitzformals.com) to see what I mean (btw I'm anxious to use something other than Iweb's 'lightroom' theme). Notice how if a vendor had more than 500 pics, I'd have to give that vendor multiple pages at less than 500 each (LaFemme 1, 2, etc). Also, pls notice if you click on a dress, it shows up larger on a separate page with thumbnails to 'flip' through - I'd really like to keep this or a similar method using Easy Web. Btw, at first I had these image pages as "albums' on an 'album' page but it was terribly slow so I eventually removed that page and just added the image links to Iweb's nav bar - making it huge but seems to work much better and faster than before. If you (or anyone reading) were building my site, how would you add the pics to Easy Web so it's easy for customers to flip through the dresses like it is with iweb? Thanks again! |

| Thread: crash when dragging multiple images in |
|
Version .9 (1.0.0.3.1091) I am running mountain lion 10.4.8 I fired up easyweb for the first time tonight. When I tried to drag in multiple images into the image gallery widget I got a message saying do I want to resize the pics. I chose ALL and I said yes to resizing. This causes an instant and reproducible (for me at least) crash. these are big images 28.6 MB - but i was hoping easy web would just auto resize them for me which is what it said it was going to do. Perhaps more than about 5 images is too many for it if they are big images. Attached is the crash report:- well actually - no- I can't attach a text edit document? How would you like me to get it to you. I tried pasting it here but it was too big for your forum? Okay, I've worked it out. your forum likes zips. |

| Thread: Changing Color of Icons from Templates |
|
Is is possible to change the color of the icons that are included in the templates? For instance, the healthcare template has a blue telephone icon. My business colors do not include blue. Can I change the color of the icon to better match my business' branding? Thanks! Tricia |

| Thread: Do u have the same promblem? |
| I do not know if this has to happen <!-- s:?: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_question.gif" alt=":?:" title="Question" /><!-- s:?: --> .. but every time I make a change to the website, I have to delete my browser history,so the website look good online.. <!-- s:( --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_sad.gif" alt=":(" title="Sad" /><!-- s:( --> |

This isn't a bug, but about design. EasyWeb shows in the top left corner of a website it's name with the earth icon. Like iWeb. But when creating a new website, a new window opens. So you get two windows. And in each there's the name of the site on top of the left menu. If you place the name of the site on the left, then there should be only one window with all the sites listed in the left menu. Just like iWeb. If you want to stick with multiple windows, please remove the title from the left menu. Because then the "home" should be on top and the name of the website should actually be the caption of the actual window. Not "EasyWeb". I found this confusing because when I just started I only had one website but couldn't delete it from the left menu. |

OK, than please replace the window's caption "EasyWeb" with the site's actual name. Every program I use works like this. Look at your browser, e.g. ;) And it would be nice to be able to delete a site from the welcome screen. And maybe also get a preview on the left. Thank you for your fast reply! |

| Thread: COPY AND PASTE include attributes |
|
I think it would be great if the user could copy an element (a text box with hyperlinks and roll over selections) and can then paste it and keep the same attributes/assignments of design or functionality. Just a thought. iweb did this very well. |

| I know a lot of artists/crafters (not just photographers) would appreciate a template for their line of work. |

| <!-- ia0 -->screen grab easyweb.I have experienced problems when the page background is set to black and a image is placed over the top. If the transparency of the image is adjusted, when viewed on the published website the background now appears white behind the image.(see attached images)screen grab published site.jpg<!-- ia0 -->[/attachment:1vnb1q0b] Also there are white flashes between each pages of a published website when viewed via a browser (safari) |

| Thread: Membership Page access |
|
Hi, It's just like a login window where people will have to log in to see some pages. It doesn't need to be so professional, I mean no need for profiles pics and others. Just a username and a password registration, so that people will have to login for seing some pages. It already exists with third-party services, but it's still too difficult and we need to purchase license from that services. So an integration would be for me the best feature. Thanks |

| Thread: Mirror, Upload, Download, and bookmarks. |
| In a program I use there are some killing features that I would really like to see in EasyWeb (picture). Oftenly they help me be much more productive and efficient, especially when my website has a lot of files. Check it. ;) |
