Thread: Stuck at publish!

I have just sent you an email with a link to dropbox.. It just happend again today, but this time it just shut down easyweb when i was publishing and a message from apple came up where i can send report to them.. that happend 2 times, and the next 3 times i tried it is just stuck at publish like in the video.. Yesterday i managed to get it published but today nothing is working so far.. Maybe my site is to big for easyweb to handle? Yeah i have been publishing without any problems the last few weeks, but from last night and to now i just can't publish anything.. Yesterday i got two errors when publishing that's the one i filmed here, but then it worked fine.. Then today i added like 10 more photo's to my Australien Photo page (all low res) and i changed the button where it says copyright travelwithsimon.org that's it.. The african film page is just empty there is nothing on it besides a text saying Africa, i am not using that side that's for my next trip.. but it get's stuck at random points, last time i tried the app just closed and i got a very long error report you know the apple one where you can click send it.. I can post it here but it is a pretty long error report.. I got 8gb of ram and i am using my macbook pro, i am not running anything else or i was running safari but the last time i closed everything and nothing works.. by the way my project file is 290mb don't know if that's alot?..

the pictures you are talking about is the in the picture gallery ? Because all of the photos in the gallery is low res, or i know they are original high quality because of dslr but i did click the low res option, and they do look low res when i look at my weppage online.. Or is the pictures you are ref to the ones i use to the design? i got them from my old iweb page, and i just clicked copy and paste there was no warning for high res there.. i know there is 3 images, and i might be able to remove 1 of them but together they make the look of 1 image.. You saying it's the pages with gallery that are the main reasons for he crash, is that because i am using the gallery wrong ? i did click import as low res.. i don't think i have alot of pictures on that site just yet.. i was hoping to have alot more..

Sounds great thanks for the help :) I am planning to add some more photo's not to the same gallery but to a diffrent one, as you might have noticed i do have 2 pages that are already ready for photo's Africa and Thailand/Laos that's not going to give a probem ? or is there another way to use the image gallery ?

Thread: Free Drag problems

Can somebody please explain me the allow free drag feature? I just cant properly allign text boxes and pictures. Sometimes I cant move them further down or up. There is a boarder that prevents it. Playing with "allow free dragging" sometimes help but I dont understand the logic behind this. I also have one text box that extends beyond the bottom of the page but I cant scroll down there. This software could really be a bit more intuitive.

Thread: HTML Snippet

I realise that the html snippet in EasyWeb and iWeb are different, but whilst in EasyWeb, I entered some code into the snippet as a Div element that had overflow: auto or overflow:scroll. When I previewed the site in Safari I found that the scroll function does not work at all, so the text gets stuck at the set height without being able to go further with the scroll function. Anyone offer any solutions? Thanks

The div contains text. Basically, what I wanted was a uniform page length and I wanted to enter the text so that it scrolled, but may be I can't do that with EasyWeb - worked well in iWeb though and created the look I wanted.

Maybe I missed the setting - but I'm unable to change the font color of the test inside the facebook widget. Black on white the widget dieplays perfectly, but black on black or any other darker background color its almost invisible. So, if I didn't miss this setting (and if it's there, its too hidden): Please give a font color feature to the facebok widget. Thanks for your reply! In general you are right, in particular not: The mentioned code must be implemented inside the code either as HTML5 or XFBML- a thing one has to do outside easyweb. iframes and simple HTML not supported according to the generator. If there is a facebook widget for easy creation, it should have the proposed options. Can't be a biggy, or do you see this different?
