Maybe its something from the past or vintage. In iWeb it is quite simple to ad Animated gif to your web site. I can't figure out how to put Animated gif in Easyweb!? Is there somebody on this forum who knows how? |

Use an <img> tag in an HTML Snippet to insert a GIF. | Roddy, the site line doesn't work. I'm looking for something that will allow me to just drag and drop animated GIFs into my site. | |

Quote: the site line doesn't work What do you mean by that? You can't just drag and drop a GIF since EverWeb inserts it as the background of a div rather than an image and the GIF's animation is lost. The easiest widget to use is the one on this page that inserts an image with alt text for SEO but no hyperlink… http://everwebcodebox.com/widgets-2/photo-banner.html ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! Quote: I can't figure out how to put Animated gif Built in Animated Gif support is not yet available. We are working towards this though. For now, Roddy's method is the easiest way to do this. Sorry for the inconvenience, we plan on adding this feature soon. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

| Roddy, in your first post giving the site line for your answer to working around the animated gif in EverWeb, when I clicked on the site line in your answer, it does not work. Thanks for repeating the site line in your second response as that does work. Now, if I can only figure out the instructions. My level of expertise is near "0" | |

Buy the ability? When it's free? Here : http://tahafut.hol.es/animated/ And you could have figured it out BEFORE buying. |

@ Jumbo T. The page that the Tom R. linked to does give instructions for inserting GIFS. If he had actually read the first part of the page he would have found the links to suitable widgets. A lot of EverWeb users just want to create websites - not search the internet and waste time figuring out how to create and insert code. Try creating a website to a deadline and you'll get it. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb!
