Menu adjustment troubles

User: Guest 12 years ago
Hello,

In the topic on White "blank page" automatically creates a menu with caps font. I was looking for on the menu where it is established - is nowhere found.

If I make a menu widget, it is added to the normal font.

In my opinion the menu control is not complete, but still spaced by several entities - the dialogue font management, Shapes, Self control menu widget (which is nothing useful there.)

I think there are need a more centralized and complicated control for menu bar, which is the backbone of any website.

Another question:

I have big menu and I want to make it horizontal:

Home | The AvtoPlan software suite | Hardware equipment, sensors, gps-trackers | Business Growth up | Cases | News, articles, videos | Contacts

Its big for one string, and i need to make it like table, with one piece in one cell, but several rows.

And so I can highlight key words in bold.

How do I do this in EasyWeb?

Use the site wide Head Code box to enter your own CSS styles to over write the default ones. SOme examples...

The site wide Code boxes can be found in the Site Publishing Settings page. Get there by clicking the site name at the top of the left column in the EasyWeb window. These allow you to insert code which is required for every page of the site.

There are similar boxes in the Page inspector for inserting code that is only required on that page.

In general, CSS, links to style sheets and meta data are inserted into the head code, javascript is inserted into the footer code and HTML is inserted via an HTML Snippet.

If you find the default menu too limiting you can create your own at sites like this...

Select the navigation bar and go to the Format menu -> Transformations to adjust this setting.

We will add features to it but for the time being there are still many customizations you can do.

I want to be able to work with text-menu as a text - word wrap to the next line, make words or italic (not all menu).

And native css-change for advanced users. Now I dont know what to change in Head Code box despite the fact that I know CSS
