I'm not getting a preview of the YouTube movie in EasyWeb. Is this normal?

No you should, can you show me a screenshot of what you get? Quit Safari and EasyWeb and try again and let me know if it works as well. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

I quit EasyWeb and Safari and also tested the YouTube URL in the browser.

I tried again with this movie... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4Rn8u7kpIw You would think it would work! I do have Little Snitch installed on my Macs but EasyWeb is allowed any connection. I can't think of anything else on my computer that could cause this. I'm still not getting a preview of a YouTube movie with this new version. I've tried both the Widget and pasting the iframe code into the HTML Widget. I'm not really sure what the issue is. EasyWeb loads the youtube video in an offscreen browser and waits 1 second to take an offscreen snapshot of the youtube player, that may not be long enough for you, but I am not sure why.

As I mentioned before I use Little Snitch to prevent unauthorized communication. I thought this may be the problem but EasyWeb has been allowed any connection and I have also tried it with the application turned off. When I click the YouTube widget code Apply button, I can see that EasyWeb is connecting to youtube.com via the network monitor. When I insert the full iframe code into an HTML Widget, the Little Snitch Network monitor shows that EasyWeb is connecting to: s.ytimg.com www.youtube.com www.ragesw.net yuotu.be i1.ytimg.com ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! I use little snitch as well and don't have this problem. I will have to do more testing to try and figure this out.
