Viewing what Easyweb has

what Easyweb has

User: Guest 10 years ago
I've been testing the beta.. enjoying it so far.
I always liked the quickness, ease, and functionality of Iweb, but always felt guilty using it as I heard it coded terribly, and it wasn't up to par with the bigger guys(dreamweaver, etc).
Is there any advantage now to using Easyweb, or can you guys tell me what brings this app to the table over iweb?
I love the mobile setup option, just wasn't sure what else this app has in terms of specs vs. iweb.

EasyWeb has much requested features that iWeb didn't have such as a self generating drop down navigation and a contact form.

As far as I am concerned it's most powerful feature is the method of code injection which is far superior to iWeb's and allows the user to easily insert advanced features which were difficult or impossible in iWeb without resorting to post publishing editing or java script hacks.

Other improvements are the way in which file names can be different from page names and SEO info can be inserted via the Page inspector.

The Metrics inspector is more advanced and allows the user to set default styles to make it easier to use HTML headings and set other site wide styles. The use of HTML headings was not possible in iWeb but is a requirement for good SEO.

EasyWeb definitely creates faster downloading pages and has a lot of features that overcome the basic mistakes made by beginners.
